Meet ORMC’s new Heart Transplant Program.

ORMC’s impact on the region’s cardiac care has been a story of continuing and dramatic advancements. Now, after an enormous effort by leadership and team members, we’re adding the final chapter.

“In the past, we treated patients right up to their transplant surgery, and then provided rehabilitation after. For years, area patients had to travel nearly two hours for the actual surgery,” says Beth Boyer Kollas, MS, M Div, PhD, CAAP administrator of Business Development/Strategy for ORMC and Lucerne Hospital. “Now, with the addition of the Heart Transplant Program, we can offer truly comprehensive cardiac care.”
